Dr who at the Kelvingrove museum was cool...  alas no DT in the flesh, but it was cool all the same.  A.Y was funny trying to fit his 6'2" inside a Dalek( I lauged a LOT) . I saw the TARDIS and got pics of the Cybermen.  Plus a lovely day with A.Y in Glasgow with beers and much joy!  Hurrah for randon April hols!!

Good Merry Chrimbo one and all.  I know I NEVER update but I thought I would say hey.  I hope you all had a good Festive celebration at this time of the year and that at the turn of the year your wishes come true, if you believe in that sort of thing.  Im not really sure where I stand on that kinda thing. LOLZ


I had a kinda weird Christmas.  (Back Story as follows)
I always go out to my parents on Christmas Eve, back to my home that I lived in since I was17.  It has been my parents house since my Granny died when I was 17 and I lived there with them until I was 21.   Im now 32./where has the time gone??
The house has  been in my Family since the 1950's...So being back there always has a wonderful and sometimes scary feeling to it! 

I love my parents but sometimes they drive me mad.   I have just spent 2 weeks with them in Canada.  While this was a lovely holiday it had been the first time I have been away with them since I was 18.  I had a great time: seeing family I had not met( younger cousins not born in my 13 year absense) and seeing older cousins who are so like me its unreal!  I guess Im being a bit weird and rubbish as I know many people are not in touch with their families and I feel for them :but as much as I love my family they can push the right buttons and make me mad, my mum especially. LOVE HER I DO but I can't do anything to please her..  I know there are many out there who feel the same butI always feel measured and left wanting in my parents shadow.  My insane insecurities shining through ladie sand gentlemen!


 I have a younger brother who I love, again, dearly, but drives me insane.  We used to work together but  I was his boss and he didnt like it much but hey that kinda thing happens... he also moved out of the parental home.   For the 1st time last year. 

He has been going out with this girl for a few years now and Im pleased to announce that they got engagedon the 25th. It was a shock to us all. Jim my bro is a closed book, didn't say anything to anyone, so it was a shock for my parents. well for everyone really.  I have NEVER seen my mum so HAPPY.  So our Christmas day was set back a wee while where we celebrated and drank and I laughingly JOKED that at least I could see the Doctor Who special.....
HAHAHA  I usually have to watch it the next day as we sit down to have our dinner at dinner time at 6pm. yes I know a mad time to be having CHRISTMAS DINNER at but,HEY it s dinner time!!!

So Special watched and I thought, mmm not bad, not Christmas Invasion cool, but better than last year and a whole lot happier than next year's where I can't possibly watch it infront of people as my David will be regenerating into some other less interesting Doctor and I have tears in my eyes even thinking about such a travesty!!!
RTD you better make it a good death!  Im sure the fangirls will be wearing black and veils whilst watching ,preying for some epic to end all ends for our hero TEN!      PLEASE!!!! Some hook up with ROSE?NO?DAMN!


Anyway the mad reason for me coming on here was.....  its 1am and BIRDS ARE CHIRPING OUTSIDE MY WINDOW!    What do they want?  Its nowhere near sunny or near daybreak.  Im trying to sleep and thank you for waking me up with birdsong!!!  HELLO ITS WINTER AND COLD AND THE MIDDLE OF A CITY.       

SLEEP DAMN YOU!!!

Any hooo RANT over I wish anyone castong an eye over this a thank you and a Happy New Year 2009 baby when it comes.  Im all still undecided what to do .   Its EDINBURGH  , really hard to avoid new year but I might try for a change!!
